Volunteer Van Driver assistants /Retail Assistants (Waltham Cross & Hoddesdon)
The Fertility Foundation is seeking a reliable volunteer Van Driver’s assistants /Retail assistants to join our Transport team, supporting our Retail stores. The volunteer Van Driver/Retail Assistant will be responsible for supporting van driver with transporting goods,materials and furniture to various locations efficiently and safely and also working in stores supporting our retail operations.
Location: Waltham Cross & Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire
Salary: These are volunteer Positions
Hours: 3 days per week – Part-time
What are the responsibilities and requirements?
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
- Working in our stores undertaking a variety of tasks to support our retail operations.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and staff
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and drive with minimal supervision
- Ability to carry out heavy lifting
- Good customer service skills
What experience and skills are we looking for?
- Proficient in navigating routes using GPS or maps
- Capable of heavy lifting when loading/unloading cargo
- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
